SEPAR produces a variety of publications of various types that address different aspects of respiratory diseases of interest to both physicians and patients themselves and their family or for the general population. Magazines Broncoenumolog a Files Files Bronconeumolog a is the official organ of scientific expression of the Spanish Society of Pneumology and (SEPAR). Since 1999, is also the official organ of the Association of Latin-American Thoracic (ALT) and since 2005 the South American Association for Thoracic Surgery (ASCT). It is included in the most prestigious national and international registries of scientific (Index Medicus, Science Citation Index, Science Direct, etc.) and has an impact factor of 1.851.The magazine publishes 12 issues a total of 4 or 5 regular and special issues a year, representing more than 700 pages, is published simultaneously in Castilian and English, and on-line version, and is part of Elsevier’s backlist Doyma (Science Direct) which allows direct entry to libraries and universities around the world. Tobacco Prevention Tobacco Prevention magazine is the only magazine on the prevention and treatment of tobacco dependence in Spanish language, which are published four issues a year and two supplements.
